Ben Rhodes

Regional Director - South West

Ben Rhodes leads the CBI’s South West regional team, who are responsible for supporting and growing CBI membership in the region, gathering insights, helping to shape policy, and sharing political intelligence.

Before taking this role, Ben served as the Associate Regional Director in the South West between 2017 and 2021.

Prior to joining the CBI, Ben was the CEO of the Devon and Cornwall Business Council for 5 years, a membership organisation championing regional investment and growth. During his tenure, Ben delivered a significant EU-funded economic development project supporting SMEs to access specialised innovation support.

Ben has a Masters Degree in Business and Management and in Applied Marine Sciences from the University of Plymouth and has spent time working in the underwater technology sector in the US.
