Director, Campaigns & Communications

Liz joined the CBI in 2023 and leads the Campaigns and Communications team responsible for media relations, campaign management, and external communications & speechwriting. Thinking about how the organisation best influences policymaking and the public discourse on behalf of members she works collaboratively with colleagues in policy, economics and commercial teams to ensure the CBI maintains its reputation as the UK’s voice of business.

She has prior experience as a Communications Director at two other membership bodies – the Recruitment & Employment Confederation and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Liz has a degree in PPE from the University of York and MA in Political Management with a specialism in campaigns from George Washington University.
