Tania Kumar

Tania leads the CBI's Net Zero policy team, heading up policy development and campaigns on topics including the energy transition, built environment and transport decarbonisation, climate and trade, and business net zero strategies. In her time at the CBI, Tania has focused on infrastructure and energy policy development covering issues such as the electrification of road transport, the development of sustainable aviation markets and the delivery of affordable housing infrastructure.

Tania has several board positions in net zero policy, including at Sustainable Aviation and the Broadway Initiative. She is also a UK Equality in Energy Transitions Ambassador.

Prior to the CBI, Tania was a client executive at Capita Asset Services, specialising in economic analysis and providing debt and investment advice to local authorities across the UK. Tania also holds a Masters in International Public Policy from University College London.
