Chilean Ambassador visits the CBI
Outlining the priorities of business to the Ambassador.
Senior Chilean figures increasingly see the CBI as a trusted and useful source of guidance on business issues. This is vital to ensure that members who currently trade with Chile continue to have their voices heard.
We have strong relationships with key Chilean officials and Sofofa, the CBI’s sister federation. Chile is an important market for some members and is a champion of free trade globally. At a time when WTO reform is high on the agenda, Chile is an important partner.
The CBI trade team will continue to engage with Ambassadors, policy makers and political stakeholders - both pre and post-Brexit - to help inform the future trade relationships between the UK and other countries around the world.
Our members are our mandate and give us the understanding of which global trade partners and policies to focus on. Members are always encouraged to get in touch and share interests in particular markets and barriers to trade.
With offices in the UK as well as representation in Brussels, Washington, Beijing and Delhi, the CBI is proud to communicate the British business voice around the world.
