Director’s update: Globalised Economy

With the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) coming into force, albeit with significant period for adjustment, the first round of the “non-continuity” trade deals being negotiated and the Autumn reshuffle, 2021 was a staging post for 2022. The new year started with the phasing in of EU import controls without significant challenges reported as yet, the next stage on 1 July may be a different story. This focus on supporting business to export will continue as we turn our attention to bringing the Seize the Momen
