Government implements CBI recommendation for a commercial pipeline
The CBI has previously called for more government agencies to publish upcoming commercial opportunities to provide businesses with greater confidence to invest in skills necessary to deliver the contracts.
In a speech to the CBI, the Minister for Implementation, Oliver Dowden CBE MP, announced all government departments should look to publish commercial pipelines a minimum of 18 months ahead.
The Playbook also specifies that Departments will now regularly Publish Commercial Pipelines looking at least 18 months ahead.— Oliver Dowden, Minister for Implementation
