What is the Export Strategy?

Published this week, the Export Strategy builds on the Department for International Trade’s 2018 strategy, with a mix of new and existing initiatives including:

  • Export Support Service (ESS): expanding to all markets, with a single portal for export queries
  • Export Academy and Champions: extended reach, increasing upskilling and mentoring
  • Tradeshow Programme: refreshed to maximise showcasing of UK products and services
  • Trade In Services Council (TISC): called for by the CBI to champion services across all sub-sectors, including services associated with goo
