Winning with fintech: what you need to know
Find more about the latest CBI campaign to help you make the most of financial technology (fintech) for efficiency, reduced costs and advanced competitive edge.
From seamless digital payment journeys to enhanced cashflow management tools, businesses are harnessing the power of fintech solutions – and given the current cost of doing business, coupled with heightened risk and an uncertain business environment, the use of innovative solutions is the key to reach your 2022 goals.
What is fintech?
Fintech is used to describe new technology that seeks to improve and automate financial services – but the benefits of fintech stretch far beyond financial services itself.
By driving digitisation within firms, fintech can boost efficacy through process improvements in payments, compliance and operations as well as improving business development with better customer propositions.
How we’ll help you
From Q2 2022, the CBI will be launching toolkits to help businesses navigate how they can utilise fintech across three initial areas:
- Global trade: using fintechs to open new markets more easily, improve resilience across supply chains, and reduce the costs and risks of importing and exporting
- Decarbonisation: showcasing how fintechs can help businesses on their net-zero journey, such as mapping carbon footprints, measuring progress against sustainability goals, and meeting regulatory reporting requirements
- Payments innovation: improving payment journeys by pushing financial technology to critical propositions and processes.
The toolkits outline best-in-class case studies from business benefiting from this technology, and how your business can connect to fintech to get up to speed with market trends – including the investor perspective, and why investors find innovative companies more attractive.
This campaign is for any business across the CBI membership – from SMEs to corporate firms that are keen to learn how fintechs can improve their propositions and operational efficiencies.
A bespoke programme of engagement is also included in the toolkits – find out more.
