CBI Midlands Business Dinner 2025
Join us at Edgbaston Stadium for a night of networking and celebration for the CBI’s Midlands Business Dinner 2025, which brings together more than 250 business executives from across the region.
2025 marks 60 years of the CBI; our prestigious Midlands Business Dinner will launch our celebration of well over half a decade of a strong and vital voice of business. Providing insights on what’s coming down the road, influencing policy to create the outcomes you need, and bringing firms like yours together in pursuit of common causes.
Hosted by CBI Chair, Rupert Soames OBE and CBI Chief Executive, Rain Newton-Smith, you will hear about the role business plays in sustainable growth and what you can do over the year ahead to drive positive change and growth in your organisation.
Guest speakers include:
- The former hugely successful cricketer, Mark Ramprakash, who will talk through topics including leadership during times of adversity and the parallels between the CBI’s own milestones and his own experiences representing the national cricket team on the world stage
Professor Stephen Jarvis BSc, MSc, PhD, FBCS Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Birmingham, as part of a fireside chat and discussion on UK competitiveness and how the UK can become the best place to start, run and scale a business by unlocking investment through planning reform, infrastructure delivery and global connectedness.
The CBI Midlands Business Dinner 2025 is also your opportunity to network and build relationships with clients and key stakeholders from a range of industries from the region. Whether or not you are a member of the CBI, join us for the business dinner event of the year.
