What the Autumn Budget could mean for your business
Hot off the heels of a new administration's first big fiscal event, the Autumn Budget, we will discuss the impact that the announcements made on October 30 by the Chancellor are likely to have on businesses. We will spend time covering new policies related to tax, regulation, innovation and net zero and discuss whether these measures stack up to deliver on the promises of economic growth, increases in productivity and business investment.
We will also spend some of the discussion looking at broader announcements, including progress and developments linked to the government's Industrial Strategy, and discuss the Global Investment Summit that’s held on 14 October. These will be covered alongside the Spending Review and new developments on other key proposals including pensions reform and the employment rights for workers.
Open exclusively to CBI members in senior finance/strategic roles - such as CFO, Finance Director, MD - these cross-sector events provide regular opportunities across the country for collaborative discussion under Chatham House Rules.
Finance Directors’ Network in Midlands is kindly sponsored by Freeths.
We will be joined by:
- Megan Bulford, CBI Director, Financial Services
You will particularly benefit from this event if you are:
- Finance Director
- Chief Financial Officer
- Senior leader/executive working in the finance function.
