Member Discussion - Autumn Budget
The CBI will host a briefing and discussion on the Autumn Budget – giving you a download of the announcements made by the Chancellor, where the CBI had impact, and what it means for your business.
This highly-anticipated Budget will be the first of the new government, and the first one by the Labour party in 14 years. This will be an opportunity for the Chancellor to set out how she means to improve the health of public finances whilst making progress to achieve her objective for the UK to have the fastest growth in the G7. The CBI has been calling for the government to keep competitiveness and certainty at the heart of this Budget – by joining this event you will get to hear from the CBI’s Director of Economic Policy, Mohammad Jamei, on how the Chancellor’s announcements meet those objectives and what that means for your business.
With a wide range of businesses in attendance, our Autumn Budget briefing will give you all the information you need to understand the changes that are to come, and how you can prepare for them.
