Westminster Reception - Scotland

Join us for our CBI Scotland Westminster Reception of 2024.

We are delighted that our popular reception will once again be hosted by the Secretary of State for Scotland at Dover House, the London headquarters of the Scotland Office. With its impressive interior and outstanding views over Horse Guards Parade, it’s a fantastic opportunity to gather in-person again at such a unique venue.

This reception – exclusively for members of the CBI, Scottish MPs and Members of the House of Lords – provides a unique networking opportunity and the chance to highlight key business priorities directly to Scotland’s political representatives at Westminster.  With many new MPs representing Scottish constituencies, this will be a timely opportunity to meet and share insights,  and share thoughts on the new government’s Budget – and what businesses want to see in order to succeed.

Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from the Rt Hon Ian Murray MP, the newly appointed Secretary of State for Scotland and Martin Pibworth, Vice-Chairman, CBI Scotland.

The evening will begin at 19:00 with an informal networking reception, followed by formal proceedings from 19:30. Further details of the agenda will be shared with delegates closer to the time of the event.

Further Information

Due to a strict security policy and limited attendance capacity, we encourage you to book your attendance as soon as possible. Should we reach capacity, we will operate a waiting list.

We look forward to seeing you at our reception.
