Black Country galvanizing group MD appointed CBI West Midlands Chair

Chris Woolridge, Managing Director of Wedge Group Galvanizing Ltd (WGG), has been appointed Chair of CBI’s West Midlands Council.
Born and raised in Wolverhampton, Chris has served as Managing Director of WGG since 2014.
Headquartered in Willenhall, WGG is a leading hot dip galvanizing company and subsidiary of B E Wedge Holdings Ltd, a family-owned business with interests in galvanizing operations across the USA and Europe, as well as a UK-based manufacturer of galvanizing equipment and services exported globally.

His steadfast support and leadership have been invaluable, especially through some challenging times for the business community. We are pleased to announce that John will continue to contribute as Vice Chair through 2025.”
New CBI West Midlands Chair, Chris Woolridge, said:

Chris was elected to the Council in 2020. His term as Chair will run to December 2026.
