CBI NI responds to DfE’s report that a no-deal Brexit could put 40,000 jobs at risk
10 July 2019
“This assessment that 40,000 jobs could be lost if we leave the EU without a trade deal will come as no surprise to the business community.
“Time and time again the CBI has warned of the implications of a no-deal Brexit. This report highlights just how important getting a trade deal with the EU will be to Northern Ireland’s future economic success and living standards.
“The next Prime Minister needs to put every effort into agreeing on a deal – this has to be their top priority. Otherwise, citizens and politicians will discover when it is too late, that we will be facing economic gridlock for years to come.”
