CBI NI responds to business rates relief

Angela McGowan, CBI Northern Ireland Director, said:

“This is an important step from the Executive to protect Northern Ireland businesses and their employees in the face of COVID-19.

“It will afford NI firms some much needed flexibility to implement business continuity plans and play their role in protecting public health, their businesses and their employees.

“This is just the beginning, there is much work to be done to protect the population and wider economy. The Executive will need to remain agile in responding promptly to the challenges as the situation evolves each day.  Business will continue to support the Executive in their understanding of the challenges firms face and finding solutions as the situation evolves.”
