CBI responds to new laws to make access easier for broadband operators

Felicity Burch, CBI Director of Digital and Innovation, said: 

“The new law to allow broadband operators into flat blocks will mean more people can get access to the best speeds no matter where they live.

“Improving access to faster broadband is great for business and consumers alike. Reliable digital connectivity isn’t just a ‘nice to have’; it’s the lifeblood of digital adoption, flexible working and regional economic growth.

“While this is a good start, the Government should also use this opportunity to improve gigabit connectivity in new builds.”
