Nikki Patterson

Regional Director, Midlands

Nikki joined the CBI in the East Midlands in 2017 as Associate Director, then was Deputy Director for the wider Midlands region from summer 2021 until her recent appointment as Regional Director. 

In her role, Nikki leads a team which works closely with members of all sizes and sectors feeding their input into CBI’s conversations with national and local government and key stakeholders. In addition to leading regional CBI activities in the areas of finance and people and skills, in 2018 Nikki launched the CBI Future Leaders’ Network in the region.  In 2022 she launched a Midlands Women in Leadership Network, bringing together women from across a broad range of sectors in current senior leadership roles and others with ambition to be leaders of the future.

Her career before joining the CBI saw her working in partnership roles for national education providers and energy consultancies.  She was a finalise in the 2024 Women of the Year Awards.
